Astana. Kazakhstan Today - The increase in the share of domestic foodstuff in the home market up to 80 % will guarantee food safety of the country. Director of Department of Strategic Planning and Innovative Policy of the Agrarian and Industrial Complex of Kazakhstan, Nurken Sharbiev, said during the session of the board of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.

N. Sharbiev reminded that, in the Address to the people of Kazakhstan, the head of state stated the basic directions of development of agriculture, one of which - maintenance of food safety of the country. "The objective of the agrarian and industrial complex is the increase in the share of domestic foodstuff in the home market in 2014 up to 80 %," Director of Department of Strategic Planning informed.
